The Tampa Bay area is an exciting place to live and offers many things to see and do. The Gasparilla Pirate Invasion and world renowned white sand beaches of St. Petersburg-Clearwater are just a few of the many activities that make our region a destination for people from around the globe.
Once you're here, the options of things to do are endless. Catch one of the premier performances at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts or experience the Seminole Hard Rock Cafe & Casino. Walk the streets of Ybor City and enjoy some dinner, drinks, music, a movie, or games. You can also hit the Channelside District after a hockey game in Downtown Tampa or visit the Florida Aquarium.
Tampa also offers the Glazer Childrens Museum, Tampa Museum of Art, Tampa Bay History Center, Lowry Park Zoo, and don't forget about Busch Gardens with it's newest thrill ride-Cheetah Hunt.
St. Petersburg's downtown is located on one of the nation's most beautiful waterfront parks, features many restaurants, and hosts a variety of events at Vinoy Park. There's the Salvador Dali Museum, Ft. DeSoto Park, Deep Sea fishing boats, private charter boats, sightseeing excursions, lunch and dinner cruises, Scuba diving adventures, and of course, the world famous Beaches. St. Petersburg is also home of the Tampa Bay Rays and Tropicana Field is just minutes from Downtown.
Clearwater Beach offers a slightly less tourist like atmosphere but the beaches are fantastic and the food is too. Most of the water activities are available here as well, or just relax on the beach and soak up the warm Florida sun!
The Gulf of Mexico is generally calm yet there is enough breeze for windsurfing and parasailing. Boat rentals are available as well as jet skis and wave runners.
